Today I decided to compare the specs of two unlikely cars together for the heck of it. Surprisingly, they were quite similar in performance. For your trouble, enjoy a roadracing Jag, because racecar.
The cars in question are the current Fiat 500 Abarth esseesse, and the 2nd generation Mazda MX-6, my "dream" car, which is something I want to start off with as my own, and I haven't found much else that piqued my interest.
According to Carfolio, the cars put out similar power figures, and had the same 0-60 MPH time of 7.40 seconds.
The Abarth produces more low-end torque than the Mazda, despite it having an engine that is a whole litre smaller than the MX-6. The MX-6 has a higher top speed than the Abarth, while only being 85 kg heavier on the curb weight.

Here's a 350Z Roadster for 18.5k http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/426140…
and here's an A8L for 17k

Both are good cars priced around the same amount and are somewhat close in performance numbers.
